American Panopticon

Introduction:
American Panopticon is an exhibition of recent sculpture and installation work by Michael Zansky. Much of what is presented in this body of work is private speculation, assuring us of continuing probes into cinematic and scientific cosmologies unique in their artistry: invoking both beauty and the absurd. Brilliant and compulsive, American Panopticon tackles the enigma of uncovering the ordinary behind the lens of the monumental. In his fantastic and real meditations Zansky is ultimately contemplative about the psychology of human experience.
