Bio:
John A. Wooden has been a prominent voice on the political parody landscape since 1997. Under the mantle of Chickenhead Productions, he publishes a popular network of pointedly satirical, non-commercial websites read by nearly 1 million people each month. The network's hub - CHICKENHEAD.COM - was declared Best Humor/Satire Site at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2000, and was a runner-up for Best of the Net at the 2001 HBO US Comedy Arts Festival.

Currently, Mr. Wooden devotes the bulk of his time to editing and co-writing WHITEHOUSE.ORG and GEORGEWBUSH.ORG, the web's preeminent political parodies and winners of eight Dot-Comedy awards for best satire. In March of 2003, he became the first political satirist to invoke the public wrath of the Bush Administration, when he received a threatening written communication from the White House legal department, attempting to pressure him to make changes in the content of WHITEHOUSE.ORG.

Mr. Wooden is also the editor and co-author of White House Inc. Employee Handbook: A Staffer's Guide to Success, Profit and Eternal Salvation Inside George W. Bush's Executive Branch, (Penguin Group, 2004) and the publisher of Psychedelic Republicans, a series of trading cards that depict powerful Republicans with amusingly surreal artwork and irreverent vital statistics.

Mr. Wooden is a 1993 graduate of Brown University, where he studied English and American Literature. He currently resides with his wife in Brooklyn, New York, where he collects moldy 1960's yarn catalogs and plots the downfall of the vast right-wing conspiracy.
