Bio:
Susan Leopold is a sculptor and installation artist living in NYC. and has exhibited extensively internationally and nationally. She is represented by Jean Albano Gallery, Chicago and was represented by John Weber Gallery NYC, for 15 years. She holds a Masters Degree from the Interactive Telecommunication Program in the Tisch School of Arts, New York University, and a BFA from The School of Visual Arts, New York City. Leopold is a recipient of the 1989-1990 Indo-American Fellowship, and Fulbright Fellowship, New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship, The Virginia A. Groot Foundation Fellowship and a commission from the Metropolitan Transit Authority, NYC. Selected exhibitions include The Whitney Museum of American Art, Phillip Morris; MassMOCA - KidSpace; and The Museum of Contemporary Photography Columbia College, Chicago. Leopold’s work has been featured on the cover of Art Forum, reviewed in the New Yorker, The New York Times and in numerous art publications. Her work is included in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Deutsche Bank, Biblioteca National Centrale, Firenze, among others.
