Bio:
An artist and musician, Patrick Vaillancourt lives and works from a small apartment in the 90026 region of Los Angeles, California. Some of his recent projects include programming telephone answering services for hypothetical companies, over-producing pop songs to make active listening a process of intentional forgetting, and composing with wind data streamed from ghost cities in the United States. He has exhibited and performed in festivals and venues throughout Los Angeles and the US. In 2002 Patrick earned his BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MFA from CalArts in 2005.
