Bio:
Using super-8 and personal interviews, the filmmaker presents aportrait of her childhood neighborhood and reveals a moment in thehistory of a street and its residents.
Vera Brunner-Sung is a filmmaker and writer based in Los Angeles. Current projects include a short film investigating the experience of suburban landscapes in Los Angeles and Bangalore, and ARNOLD HEIGHTS,a documentary about a neighborhood of abandoned military housing near Riverside, California. Originally from the midwest, she studied Public Policy and Visual Art at Brown University and is presently an MFA candidate in Film/Video at California Institute of the Arts.
