Bio:
Accra Shepp has exhibited in the United States and abroad. His work is represented in such collections as the Museum of Modern Art, The Chicago Art Institute, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston Texas. In 1999 he completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Indonesia. In 1997 he had a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art entitled Tunnel Visions. He created the process of printing photographic images on leaves in 1992 following the receipt of a fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts. Accra holds a Master's Degree in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU with a concentration in conservation of art. In addition, he has a B.A. in Art History and Studio Art from Princeton University.
